Ingredients
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink.
- Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add butter and allow it to melt on low heat.
- Add minced garlic to the melted butter, stirring frequently until fragrant but not browned, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the asparagus to the skillet, tossing to coat with the garlic butter. Cook until the asparagus is tender, approximately 5-7 minutes.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the asparagus, mixing well to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Add lemon zest, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir well to ensure the shrimp and asparagus are well coated.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
