Ingredients
8 oz spaghetti
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic
0.5 tsp chili flakes
1 cup cherry tomatoes
0.25 cup basil leaves
to taste salt
to taste black pepper
0.25 cup parmesan cheese
Directions
- Boil a pot of water with a pinch of salt and add the spaghetti. Cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden.
- Add chili flakes and cherry tomatoes to the pan. Cook for around 5 minutes, until tomatoes are soft.
- Drain the spaghetti and add it to the pan. Toss to combine with the garlic and tomato mixture.
- Add basil leaves, salt, and black pepper to taste. Stir gently and let the flavors combine for a few minutes.
- Serve the pasta hot and top with freshly grated parmesan cheese for extra flavor and richness.
